GI Defense is a synergistic formula containing organic marshmallow root powder, wildcrafted slippery elm bark powder, chicory root powder, glutamine, k-Rutin (a highly bioavailable water-soluble form of Rutin), and Probiocap® microencapsulated probiotics, including L. Rhamnosus, L. Acidophilus, & B. Longum. Desiccated fish and liver has been added to increase nutritional value and greatly enhances palatability. Glutamine is stored in muscle tissue in order to meet the needs of other body tissues and inhibits muscle atrophy induced by stress hormones.
